VISA

Generally, a foreign citizen who wishes to enter the Kingdom of Thailand is required to obtain a visa from a Royal Thai Embassy or a Royal Thai Consulate-General. WEATHER

The weather in Thailand is classified as hot and humid, with a long monsoon season. Thailand can be divided into three seasons: Summer (roughly March – May), the Rainy Season (roughly June – October) and Winter (roughly November – February). LANGUAGE AND COMMUNICATION

TEMPERATURE

Thailand has a tropical climate which is generally hot and humid. The weather in the month of the Conference is roughly around 26-33 degrees Celsius.

Thailand Standard time is GMT+7. Thailand does not observe daylight savings.

ELECTRICITY

The standard voltage of power sockets in Thailand is 220 V and the standard frequency is 50 Hz, which is a voltage standard for UK, Europe, Australia and most of Asia and Africa. Visitors from the U.S. and those not on the 220/50 V. should carry a plug-adapter kit.
